GMGN alternatives (2026): 7 options compared by chain and fee

10 min read · Updated October 26, 2026

The best GMGN alternatives in 2026 are Axiom and Photon for fast Solana trading, Trojan if you prefer a Telegram bot, fomo for a mobile app, Birdeye or DexScreener if you only need data, and sasa if you want to buy meme coins on several chains from one USDC balance without managing a wallet. None of them copies GMGN feature for feature, so the right pick depends on which part of GMGN you actually use.

GMGN is hard to replace in one move because it bundles four products: a token discovery feed, a trading terminal, a copy trading engine and a wallet analytics site, all across roughly ten chains. This guide splits those jobs apart and shows which alternative does each one well, what it costs, and where GMGN is still the stronger choice.

What is GMGN and why look for an alternative?

GMGN is a meme coin trading platform founded in 2023 and based in Singapore. It started on Ethereum, moved its focus to Solana in 2024, and has since added BNB Chain, Base, Ethereum, Robinhood Chain, Monad, MegaETH, X Layer, Arbitrum and others, with Tron served through a separate Telegram bot. It added Robinhood Chain within about two weeks of that chain's mainnet in July 2026, and according to DefiLlama data cited in September 2026, Robinhood Chain and BNB Chain made up most of its tracked volume in a recent 30-day period.

Its strengths are real: one login covers many chains, the discovery feed pulls new tokens from pump.fun, Raydium, Four.meme and LetsBonk, the token page shows security flags and holder data, and copy trading lets you follow up to ten wallets with your own size and exit rules. It also added three levels of MEV protection in July 2025 and an AI agent toolkit in mid-2026.

People still look for alternatives, usually for one of these reasons:

  • Fees. GMGN charges 1% on every buy and every sell, so a round trip costs about 2% before network fees.
  • Key control. A Telegram login creates wallets for you, and GMGN's wallet documentation says private keys cannot be exported. Withdrawals need Google Authenticator and a whitelisted address, and changing the whitelist adds a three-hour lock.
  • Complexity. The interface is dense, which suits full-time traders but slows down someone who buys a few coins a week.
  • Phishing risk. In late October 2025 a fake GMGN site drained about 107 accounts, with losses above $700,000; GMGN announced compensation the same day. The platform itself was not the cause, but it is a reminder that popular tools attract copycat domains.

How we compared the GMGN alternatives

We judged every tool on the same six points, using official pages, documentation and 2026 coverage where it existed. Where a fee or feature could not be confirmed from a current source, we say so instead of guessing.

  1. Chains you can actually trade on today, not just view.
  2. Fee per trade and whether any part of it comes back as cashback or referral discount.
  3. Wallet model: who holds the keys and whether you can export them.
  4. Discovery: how quickly new tokens show up and what filters exist.
  5. Safety signals on the token page: honeypot, tax, mint, holder concentration.
  6. Who it suits: speed trader, casual buyer, data watcher or creator.

Is Axiom a good GMGN alternative for Solana?

For Solana and BNB Chain, Axiom is the alternative most GMGN users try first. It is a Y Combinator backed web terminal that launched in 2024 and, according to Solana Compass, held about 44.6% of the Solana trading terminal category in June 2026. Its Pulse feed sorts new tokens into stages with around fifteen filters, and it supports limit orders, migration buys, multi-wallet trading, wallet tracking and a tweet monitor.

The fee starts at 1%, but a seven-tier cashback system returns 0.05% to 0.25% of each trade as SOL, so active traders can bring the net cost down to roughly 0.75%. Axiom also offers perpetual futures up to 50x inside the same account. The trade-off is chain coverage: if you trade Base, Ethereum or Robinhood Chain coins on GMGN, Axiom will not cover them. In February 2026 Axiom also confirmed that some staff had misused internal support tools to look up user wallet data and said it had revoked that access. Our Axiom alternatives guide covers that episode and the options for people who left over it.

What about Photon and Trojan?

Photon is the original speed terminal on Solana. It charges a flat 1% per trade, has no subscription, and is built around its Memescope launch feed, quick-buy presets, take-profit and stop-loss sells, limit orders and wallet tracking. You trade from a burner wallet in the browser or an imported key, which is why reviewers advise keeping only trading money there. If you used GMGN mainly for Solana snipes and nothing else, Photon will feel familiar and lighter. More detail is in Photon alternatives.

Trojan suits people who never liked web terminals. It started as a Telegram bot, added a web terminal in early 2026, and charges 0.9% to 1% per trade, with cashback through its loyalty program for the most active users. It covers auto-snipes, migration snipes, limit orders, DCA and copy trading of any Solana wallet, and its wallets are non-custodial through Privy. If auto-snipes are new to you, what is a sniper bot explains what they do and where they go wrong.

Padre is the other terminal worth knowing. pump.fun bought it in October 2025, and at the time it supported Solana, Base, BNB Chain and Ethereum. If most of what you trade starts on pump.fun, it is a natural fit; check its current fee and wallet terms on its own site, because terms can change after an acquisition.

Is there a GMGN alternative that covers Robinhood Chain?

This is where GMGN is hardest to replace. Robinhood Chain went live in July 2026 and GMGN was one of the first terminals to support it, which is a big part of its recent volume. Most Solana-first terminals do not trade it.

Two options cover it in different ways. Birdeye added Robinhood Chain to its data API in July 2026, so you can chart tokens and track wallets there, but you cannot trade through it. sasa lets you buy Robinhood Chain meme coins from the same USDC balance you use for Solana, Base, BNB Chain, Arc and Ethereum: it routes the swap and the cross-chain move, so there is no bridge to do yourself. Daily lists such as Robinhood Chain meme coins refresh every 30 minutes. For the step-by-step version, see how to buy meme coins on Robinhood Chain.

Which GMGN alternative needs no wallet at all?

Every terminal above still expects you to fund a wallet with SOL, BNB or ETH. sasa is the exception in this list: you can sign up with an email, add USDC (for example by sending Solana USDC to a one-time deposit address), and buy coins on six chains from that single Cash balance. You can also connect MetaMask or another wallet if you prefer.

The trade-offs are clear and worth stating. sasa is newer and much smaller than GMGN, it is not a speed terminal with sniping presets and per-block settings, and its own pools charge 2% per trade, which is higher than a 1% terminal fee. Where it helps is convenience and safety screens: each coin page runs a token check for honeypot or can't-sell, buy and sell tax, mintable supply and top-10 holder share, and copy trading on sasa makes every copied trade wait for your Apply or Reject instead of firing automatically. How the single balance works across chains is explained in how to trade meme coins on multiple chains from one balance.

Can a free data tool replace GMGN?

If you mostly opened GMGN to look, not to trade, you may not need a terminal at all. DexScreener is free and covers a very wide range of chains with fast charts and a trending list. GeckoTerminal, run by CoinGecko, covers more than 250 networks and has a free API. Birdeye has a free web terminal with wallet PnL, a gem screener and mint and freeze authority filters, plus a Pro plan at $45 a month. Our DexScreener alternatives guide compares the data tools in detail.

On sasa, the Data tab shows the Crypto Fear and Greed index, whale trades on major coins, top traders and funding rates, which covers the market-mood part of what some people used GMGN's dashboards for.

How much do GMGN alternatives really cost? A worked example

Example, for illustration only: you make 20 round trips a month, buying $200 and selling $200 each time, so your traded volume is $8,000 a month.

  • GMGN at 1%: about $80 a month in platform fees.
  • Axiom at the base tier (1% with 0.05% back): about $76 net. At the top tier (0.75% net): about $60.
  • Trojan with a referral (0.9%): about $72.
  • Photon at 1%: about $80.

Network fees, priority fees and price impact come on top of every one of these, and on thin meme coins price impact is often larger than the platform fee. A $200 buy into a pool with little liquidity can move the price several percent on its own. That is why price impact vs slippage matters more than shaving 0.1% off a fee tier for most small traders.

What does GMGN still do better than its alternatives?

Being fair matters here. GMGN's chain coverage is wider than any single competitor in this list, its wallet analytics and smart money labels are deep, and its copy trading has more controls than most bots. It also moved faster than almost anyone on Robinhood Chain. If you trade actively across Solana, BNB Chain and Robinhood Chain in the same day and you are comfortable with its wallet model, staying on GMGN can be the right call. The head-to-head with its two biggest rivals is in Axiom vs Photon vs GMGN.

Which GMGN alternative should you use?

  • You trade Solana fast and want lower fees with volume: Axiom.
  • You want the lightest speed terminal for new Solana launches: Photon.
  • You live in Telegram and want DCA or auto-snipes: Trojan.
  • You mainly trade from your phone: fomo.
  • You only watch charts and wallets: Birdeye, DexScreener or GeckoTerminal.
  • You want one USDC balance across Solana, Base, BNB Chain, Robinhood Chain, Arc and Ethereum, without a wallet: sasa.

Meme coins are extremely volatile and most lose nearly all their value; whichever tool you choose, only trade money you can afford to lose. Before your first trade on a new platform, run the coin through a Solana meme coin safety check or the equivalent for its chain.

Questions

What is the best GMGN alternative in 2026?

It depends on which part of GMGN you use. For fast Solana trading most people move to Axiom or Photon, for Telegram trading Trojan, for data only Birdeye or DexScreener, and for buying on several chains from one USDC balance without a wallet, sasa.

What fees does GMGN charge?

GMGN charges a 1% handling fee on each trade, on both buys and sells, with no subscription. Network and priority fees are paid on top.

Can I export my private key from GMGN?

GMGN's wallet documentation states that private keys cannot be exported on any chain for wallets it creates. If you want full key control, connect your own wallet such as Phantom instead of using the generated one.

Is GMGN safe to use?

GMGN is a large, widely used platform, but no trading tool removes the risk of meme coins themselves. The biggest practical risk is phishing: in October 2025 a fake GMGN site drained about 107 accounts. Use the real domain, enable two-factor authentication and keep only trading money in any hot wallet.

What is the best GMGN alternative for Solana?

Axiom is the most common choice, with a 1% base fee, SOL cashback of 0.05% to 0.25% per trade by tier, and the Pulse discovery feed. Photon is the lighter option if you only want speed on new launches.

Which GMGN alternative supports Robinhood Chain?

Few terminals do. sasa lets you buy Robinhood Chain meme coins from a USDC balance, and Birdeye covers Robinhood Chain for charts and wallet data but not trading.

Do I need SOL to use a GMGN alternative?

For Axiom, Photon, Trojan and fomo you fund a Solana wallet, so yes. On sasa you can sign up with email and buy Solana coins from USDC, with no SOL and no Solana wallet needed.
